New term Welcome tea party

16/01/2020

A warm Welcome to all our students.

A Cambridge Academy of English tradition at our Girton school was to start each new term with an English afternoon tea party. These welcome parties often took place in the internationally renowned “Banana Club” (sadly no longer open).  Many new students will remember enjoying tea and biscuits, conversation and laughter with former Principal, John Barnett and other members of the CAE team and of course lots of CAE friends and fellow students.

Who do YOU remember talking to at CAE in your first week at the school?

Keep in touch. Stay connected. We would love to hear your memories, listen to your stories and see photographs from your course. Do share these with us. We can’t wait!
